Italian Vetterli 1870 single shot rifle, modified in 1887 with the addition of the four round Vitali box magazine. The rifle was then designated as "Vetterli Vitali Model 1870/87 in 10.35 x 47 mm"
Italian Vetterli Vitali rifles 1870/87 further modified in 1916 by adding a bore liner rifled in 6.5 mm and by replacing the Vitali magazine with one of Carcano type. The rifle was then redesignated as Model 1870/87/15. For more on the Italian Vetterli click here.

Italian cavalry carbine Model 1938 in 7.35 mm
Italian 1891 cavalry carbine for the "Squadrone Reali Carabineri Guardie del Re" and subsequently for the guard of the president of the Italian republic. The bolt handle, part of the rear sight, bayonet block, magazine and nosecap were all gold plated. The bolt on this carbine is a miss match and the gilding has been worn off of many of the other parts leaving only a slight hint of it's previous splendor.

Two children's carbines (Moschetto Bailla) with a full size adult carbine. The childs carbine fired special blank ammunition (no longer available) and some had the child's family name on a metal plaque on the butt stock (missing on this one). the middle rifle with steel bayonet and the lowest one is all brass. Parts are not interchangable.
