1875 Remington rolling block bayonets shortened and converted for the 1922 modification of the 1891 Enginer's carbine. Shortened scabbard has matching serial # (lower bayonet). This bayonet is not in Janzen's notebook. Oddly enough neither of these bayonets will mount on either of the modified Enginer's carbines on the Argentine Rifle page.
